    About the Foundation

    Who We Are

The JacQuizz Rodgers Foundation is a community-based organization founded to benefit student-athletes and local families. This foundation hosts youth football camps annually and supports yearly initiatives.

    Our Mission

It is our mission to promote values of education, hard-work, and persistence so that students may pursue sports in college and/or as a career.

    Our Focus & Vision

We believe we can impact youth development through sports as the common medium. This foundation focuses on leadership-training and promoting the benefits of daily activity to contribute to a healthier, more active youth community.

    Our Values

We believe in need for constant learning, innovation, and the necessity of transformation—within the world and our own organization. We understand that there are many lessons to be learned on the field, at home, and in the classroom. We hold each of these with high regard and pay attention to where each individual is on their journey.

We are accountable to the people and partners we humbly serve, transparently sharing our results, stories and lessons.

We know that by embracing differences, actively including a variety of voices, and joining together we can create a strong community. A diverse community means the youth will be prepared when it is time to leave their immediate environment.  We aim to prepare children and teens for new challenges they will face at school, at work, and throughout life.

We challenge our campers to take the lessons learned in this program and consistently implement them in their daily lives. We push campers to be great teammates to their peers, to honor their parents/guardians, to be coachable, to live a healthy lifestyle, and to practice good decision making. Persistance in self-improvement and community building is so important because no change will happen overnight.

We believe in the equal value of both women and men. We stress the importance of respecting and honoring each individual.

Hard-work is the most informal yet arguably most important of our pillars. In sports, size, speed, weight, age, and strength are often highly valued by coaches and bystanders. We emphasize the importance of outworking your competition even if these measurables are not always in your favor. In school this symbolizes going beyond standard expectations. This may include studying longer, completing extra work, or attending workshops/tutorials. In sports, this symbolizes going beyond the stated expectations of coaches whether it involves going beyond the set workout regimen or spending more time studying film. In life, this symbolizes going beyond expectations at work and at home. Hard-work is what separates us in many different scenarios and instances. We encourage our student-athletes to create good habits of going above and beyond to benefit them in their future endeavors.

    Our Community Commitment

This Community Commitment describes who we are, what we do, and how we do it. It reflects our Core Values of EDUCATION, INTEGRITY, DIVERSITY, PERSISTENCE, EQUALITY, and HARD-WORK which serve as a foundation for what we do.
